Breeding

All of our pups are healthy active working dogs.  We believe that utilizing dogs for their intended purpose is not only healthy for an individual dog, but also for the future pups that may rear.  Each dog receives extensive genetic testing and completes periodic wellness examinations to ensure that they are healthy and ready to work and breed.  Because we believe in supporting the best breed possible we consistently assess all dogs, including DNA testing, to ensure that all GCK dogs have healthy eyes, hips, and hearts, and are not carriers of genetic disorders and diseases like Exercise-Induced Collapse (EIC) or Centrouclear Myopathy (CNM).  

In addition, GCK only considers breeding our dogs on a periodic basis, to ensure they are happy and healthy when they do breed.  Also, we do not condone or support "backyard" breeders that do not follow, possess, or provide such practices and health clearances because it is not healthy for the individual dogs or the breed at large.

All GCK puppies come with:

• AKC Registration*

• Microchipped* (if picked up after 1st round of vaccinations)

• Dewclaws removed (if desired)

• Dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks 

• Vaccinations (1st round minimum if picked up after 8 weeks)

• Wellness examination (If picked up after 1st round of vaccinations)

• Completion of GCK Early Scent Introduction (ESI) program

• Completion of GCK Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) program

• GCK Puppy Health Guarantee ** 

• GCK 1 Year Health Guarantee ***
