Who we are

Gold Creek Kennel (GCK) was founded on the sincere desire to share our passion for working and sporting, Labrador Retrievers.   From maintaining high-quality pedigrees to developing labs for what they are bred for, GCK is here to ensure that your next pup is healthy and happy, whether with the family or in the field.

Our experience in the field with working Labrador Retrievers is multi-generational. The Webb family has been hunting waterfowl over several generations from numerous duck camps on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, including the fabled Harbor Island Gun Club. There, both Everett and Dennison cut their teeth in the family tradition of waterfowling, as well as training and hunting over “meat dogs” to bring the bounty of the field to the table. This heritage and family tradition continues to this day.

In 2015 GCK began it’s journey with Diesel of Gold Creek, hailing from Woody Thurman’s Twin Lake Kennel. Later, Sage of Gold Creek was added from Lavender’s Retrievers in Southern, Idaho. Both dogs come from phenomenal pedigrees with numerous Field Trial Champion and Master Hunter titles.

Recently, we added Bolo Bear of Gold Creek JH to the kennel. Bear is the offspring of Diesel and Sage and has already demonstrated great promise as a gun dog. During the summer of 2025 Bear completed his AKC Junior Hunter Title and he is currently pursuing his AKC Senior Hunter Title.

    Diesel of Gold Creek

    Diesel comes to GCK with phenomenal lineage from Woody Thurman's Twin Lakes Kennel out of North Carolina - one of the premiere Labrador Retriever breeders and trainers in the country.  With (7) Master Hunter Titles and other accolades in the lineage, Diesel has the gold standard when it comes to genetics.

    Sage comes to GCK from an exceptional lineage from southern Idaho.  With over (7) Master Hunter Titles and numerous Field Trail Champion Titles, Sage's genetics are top-notch.

    Bolo Bear of Gold Creek JH

    Bolo "Bear" of Gold JH is the offspring of Sage and Diesel.  Bear shows great promise as a young working dog and possesses the same hunting drive instincts and train-ability as both his parents.  Bear is currently working torwards his his AKC Senior Hunt Test Title and completed his Junior Hunt Title last summer.  He is a sound example of the kind of genetics and disposition that we look for in a working Labrador Retrievers.
